How much Spritz for 6 people — exact measures?
Exact Spritz / Aperol Spritz measures scaled for your guest count — ml per ingredient and short procedure.
Quick answer
Hosting 6 guests? One Spritz per person scales cleanly: dose × number of drinks. Base recipe (60 ml Prosecco · 40 ml Aperol) × 6 = 360 ml prosecco + 240 ml Aperol plus soda and ice per glass. Use the party buttons for 10 or 20 — the pain point is batch math before a summer terrace, not memorising IBA ratios.

Formula: base dose × number of drinks × glass factor. Non-ml items (splash, mint) stay per-glass notes. Spirits are not sold via our links — use the list when shopping locally.
How it works
| Ingredient | Per glass | For 6 |
|---|---|---|
| Prosecco | 60 ml | 360 ml |
| Aperol | 40 ml | 240 ml |
| Orange slice | 1 slice | 6 slices |
Classic Venetian ratio: 3 parts prosecco : 2 Aperol : splash soda. Build in the glass over ice; orange slice last. Premix prosecco + Aperol in a chilled pitcher up to 30 min ahead — add soda and ice per glass or the bubbles die.
Bar kit only (no spirits on Amazon affiliate): spritz wine glasses set, cocktail jigger, large ice cube mould, and a cocktail shaker set if you also shake Daiquiris the same night. Buy Aperol and prosecco locally with the ml list above.
Two details decide it. The prosecco has to come out of the fridge cold: poured lukewarm it loses its bubbles against the ice and the drink goes flat before you sit down. And the order matters — ice first, liquids after, never the other way round, or you melt the ice on contact and dilute the first sip. If you are making several at once, keep the bottle in a bucket rather than on the table.

Frequently asked questions
What are the classic Spritz / Aperol Spritz proportions?+
Classic Venetian ratio: 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 splash soda (roughly 60 : 40 ml per glass). Adjust sweeter with more Aperol or drier with more prosecco.
How do I scale Spritz for a party of 20?+
Set drinks to 20 → **1.2 L prosecco + 800 ml Aperol** before soda. Buy ~10% extra; keep soda cold and open bottles as you serve. Pair with the party planner for cups, ice and snacks totals.
Can I premix everything ahead of time?+
Mix prosecco + Aperol in a chilled pitcher up to 30 min ahead; add soda and ice per glass when serving — carbonation fades if fully premixed.
Do you sell the alcohol through this page?+
No — we only suggest bar tools (shaker, glasses, jigger). Buy spirits and vermouth from your local shop; the calculator gives exact ml for your guest count.
