What games can a mini PC run?
Realistic gaming tiers for mini PCs: esports/indie 1080p, AA medium-low, AAA low — by iGPU class, not per-title lists.
Quick answer
Mini PCs do not run every game equally — we classify by game tier, not a title database: esports & indie (1080p medium on Ryzen 7 7840HS class), AA (1080p medium–low with upscaling), AAA (1080p low only — often better on a full gaming PC). Example: competitive shooters + indie → mid mini PC, 32 GB RAM, strong mobile iGPU.

- Ryzen 7 7840HS / Core Ultra 7 class iGPU

- 16–32 GB
- Realistic expectations
- Competitive shooters, MOBAs, 2D and light 3D indie at 1080p — not current AAA blockbusters.

How it works
Integrated graphics improved a lot, but VRAM and power limits remain. Fortnite, Valorant and Stardew-style games fit the first tier; new AAA at max settings do not. Compare Geekom/Beelink gaming mini PCs only after you know your tier — or use which mini PC for office/AI uses too.
One configuration detail decides more than the model you pick. Integrated graphics borrow system memory as video memory, so a machine sold with a single memory stick runs at half the bandwidth and loses roughly a third of its frame rate compared with the same machine fitted with two. It is the cheapest upgrade in computing and almost nobody looks for it in the listing. If the specification says 16 GB, find out whether that is 2×8 or one single 16 — and if it is a single stick, budget for a second one on day one.
Frequently asked questions
Can a mini PC run AAA games?+
Only at low settings with FSR/XeSS/DLSS where supported — and not all mini PCs are worth trying. For new AAA releases, budget for a tower GPU or accept heavy compromise.
Is 16 GB RAM enough for gaming on a mini PC?+
For esports and lighter titles yes; 32 GB is safer for AA, browser/Discord in background and future titles. Many mini PCs ship soldered RAM — plan ahead.
Ryzen 7840HS vs Intel Core Ultra for gaming mini PCs?+
Both are credible in the mid tier — compare exact iGPU model, TDP and cooling in reviews, not the sticker CPU name alone.
Why not list specific games?+
Game requirements change every year — a per-title list goes stale and misleads. Tier classes (esports/indie · AA · AAA) stay useful longer and match how buyers actually decide.
